Memory of Edgware School:

Mr. Ratcliffe the computer
teacher flipping his lid. Mr Blindt teaching
calculus - great teacher but never used it! On
last day me and James Bravo nicked a kids ball and
Mr Rosenberg wanted to give us the slipper. Fat
chance, we legged it. Playing football on the
playground and the ball going into the electricity
substation. Having snowball fights in the first
few years against the mods. It doesn't snow like
that now. The Butlins trip. The bus breaking down
on the M4. Skiing trip at 14 when we all got drunk
in the Italian disco to "Message in a bottle" by
the police. It was my first taste of pizza. Zafir
Bassett was the best at everything - wheres he now?
Andrew Ferguson was good at football. Paul Dukes
was good at running. German lessons where we just
watched the girls playing netball on the
playground. HOMEWORK! - not doing it and having to
report to Mr Blindts office the next day. Getting
99% in my third year physics exam - cheers Mrs
Gosson. Having! the skin test for the BCG, mine
was positive so I never needed the
innoculation. Everyone else
had it and we used to whack them on the arm! Could
go on for hours.
