In Response to Brian Peels entry 70/71. Maureen Nabbs older sister Linda was in my year (1959-1965). I remember when they moved to Hillside Ave, Their dad was a policeman,( believe it or not PC Nabbs) I kept in touch with them till about 1978. The Deputy Head was Hodgkins (not Hodgkinson) He was a real bastard in our time. But I got to like him in the 6th when he was our form teacher. The portable classroom you had was erected in 1965 for us in the 6th form , but we refused to use it. At that time the 6th form room was the stage behind the curtian, We loved it. We finally agreed to move to Room 22 - 3rd floor . It was above Eric Blindt's room. He would go ape shit at out constant ping pong table games over his head. I was astonished in later years to find out that he wasn't all that old , he just looked it. Norman Barnes was always fat because he really never did anything in the way of exercise.

Through this page I have made contact with an old classmate havent seen for 35 yrs. I actually had a good education there, it was not such a bad place.
