Memory of Edgware School: 142 Bus journey from Annesley Avenue through Burnt Oak past Edgware Station and onto Green Lane. Pink Bus Passes!! Mr Townley the Art(?) Teacher. 6th Form Discos at Mill Hill Rugby Club. Crane Flys and the Mobiles, field trips/sports tours with Fred Corlet, Rosey, Rob Reid etc. Norman Barnes was my PE teacher in the 1st year, mad and fairly dodgy, Eric Blindt scarey maths teacher who turned out to be a top bloke who loved cricket. Talking of cricket Spur Road had one of the worst wickets going, one game Vs Orange Hill resulted in the non striker walking off the pitch as he saw his partner felled by a ball from some medium pacer.

Notes: Working at Oxford University as a Sports Director, still playing lots of cricket but not the guitar.
