Memory of Edgware School:
|
Many memories, mostly mixed,
echo those of the mass canings by Barnes, Townley
+& co. I enjoyed my stay, started in Sep 1959
in Mrs Stocks Form 1B1,
later on in the 3rd year
went down the commercial route doing accounts,
economics, etc which included typing, shorthand and
the benefit of being one of three guys in a class
of thirty girls, worrying at first but stood me in
good stead later in life.,ended much, much later in
the little room off the Science lab. I was in The
Miser, very much enjoyed the experience, thought
Susan Leifer was wonderful (used different words
then).
I think I am now ready for a
re-union, mature enough maybe.
