Tony Bygraves was the star of the school. His dad
Max Bygraves was a great sponsor of the school and a real
comic on prize day. Tony played "Algie" in the 1964
production of " The Importance of Being Ernest" and brought
the house down. He even made Mr Hodgkins fall about in fits
of laughter which was no easy task. In this picture is he
smoking in the playground? He certainly was not on a mobile
in those days
